The 2025 model of the Explorer and Acadia have very similar base engines. Ford Explorer owners can start with a turbocharged 2.3-litre, four-cylinder engine making 300 horsepower. However, a turbocharged 3.0-litre, V-6 making 400 horsepower can also be equipped with the current Explorer. All Acadia models use a turbocharged 2.5-litre, four-cylinder making 328 horsepower.

Towing Capacity
